Little Dreamer Workshop Your Way with a twist plus more....

I really love how easy Close to My Heart has made the workshops.  I was able to create all 3 layouts with a change to one layout, plus I was able to create an additional layout with the addition of a bulk piece of B&T and some extra cardstock.  I still have oodles of pattern paper left to create the additional cards and possibly more.

The cutting and assembly instructions are easy to follow, and make the layouts come together with ease.  What makes it even better is that the coordinating embellishments are included in the workshop.
So here are the first 2 layouts for this workshop, and I assembled them as per the instructions.

The 3 layout I changed to work for my what I needed. So instead of using the cloud print, I flipped the paper and used the pink flower print.  I also flipped the unicorn print and used the multi-coloured polka dots.

Finally, I decided to put together another a forth 2 page layout, and added some stamping using both of the Little Dreamer stamp sets.

I really love this paper, and can't wait to assemble the cards.  So come on back and visit again.

Introducing Jack 1 Sheet Wonder 20 Card Workshop

With my first 2 workshops being so successful with my customers I had to jump right in and start designing another workshop. My customers were asking for a masculine collection, and Jack fits that perfectly.

My workshop is based on being able to teach my customers how to create the maximum amount of cards from a single sheet of 12 x 12 pattern paper.

My workshop will create 20 cards with 5 different designs. For my this workshop I used the first pattern from the Jack collection. These cards are very versatile and I see multiple uses for these cards.

Now lets take a look at each one of the cards.

Team Brae-er Blog Hop - Little Dreamer

Have you seen how stinking cute the Little Dreamer Paper is?

Welcome to the Brae-er's Team Blog Hop.  This month the featured paper collection is Little Dreamer, and it is so very cute.  The patterns are so versatile, bright and so much fun.  I just love how vibrant they are.

We have 7 team members who are participating in this months hop, and all you have to do to follow along is click on the linked name of the person who is following me.

So, I really had lots of fun creating this card using the cloud print pattern and decided I was going to use that as my main theme.  I added the rainbow and cloud from the Scrapbooking Thin Cut & Stamp Bundle, I didn't stamp the cloud, but did stamp the Rainbow using Lagoon, Thistle, Blossom and Lemon.

I also used the Cardmaking Thin Cut & Stamp Bundle for the unicorn.  I stamped the unicorn using Blossom, Lagoon, Thistle and Glacier.  The sentiment also from this collection and I stamped the banner in Lagoon, and the sentiment in Black.  I thought it needed a little bling, so I added some Little Dreamer Gems.

Now you can continue hopping along, being inspired by visiting Heather.  Now don't forget to leave us all comments as we love hearing from you.

To purchase any of the supplies used in any of our creations you can contact your local consultant or you can shop with me!

Cross Canada Blog Hop - Favorite New Paper Collection

Welcome to our May Blog Hop featuring our favorite New Paper Collections. We have 4 new amazing and fun paper collections in the Current Seasonal Expressions 2 catalog.

We have an amazing group of talented ladies all across Canada, and they sure would love to hear from you, so before hopping onto the next person, take a moment and leave a comment about what you loved.

If you've arrived from Nancy Klein's Blog then you are in the right place! If you would like to start at the beginning of the hop, and continue from East Coast to West Coast, then you are in the right spot, as I'm the first stop on the East Coast.

I have 4 cards to share with you today using Prickly Pear. Now we are suppose to share our favorite paper, but really I don't have a favorite, I love all 4 paper collections....but my oldest daughter loves Llama's and needed a birthday card over the weekend, so that it what I used to create with. The first card I'm showing is my daughter Jaymee's card. She decided she needed to color the Llama pink.

I think she did a wonder job coloring her pink Llama, and her friend enjoyed the fun card.

Now for my first card I decided to use this Month's SOTM along with the Prickly Pear Paper. I pulled colors from the pallet for this paper to stamp the flowers, Lemon, Tangerine, Blossom and Poppy and for the sentiment I stamped it in Sapphire. To fill in the center of the flowers, I actually flipped the stamp over and stamped the backside of the flower in 2nd generation. The leaves are stamped in Emerald ink using the same technique as the flowers.

My second card I decided to use the cute Llama, and I used the Watercolor paints to color this cute little guy. I used multiple patterns for this card, and I used the circle Thin Cut to cut the sun, and used the watercolor paints to color it in. The sentiment is stamped using Sapphire ink and then I doodled a border.

For my final card, I used the cute Cactus from and also used watercolor paints to add some fun, vibrant color. I used the a the Golden Yellow Shinhan Marker to color some cardstock before stamping the "on you" and "ouch". They were fussy cut and added to the card. My inspiration came from the artwork in the catalog for this card, but I made some changes to make it my own.

I really love this month's promotional paper, and have created quite a few layout using only 1 package of paper and I still have lots of paper yet to plan with. I only used 3 of the patterns here, the gold foil dots are 1 of 2 gold foil designs and it pairs well with all the remaining patterns.

I decided I wanted to use the flowers from the coordinating stamp set, and decided to try stamping them in black ink.  The leaves are stamped in New England Ivy ink.  I fussy cut all the flowers and leaves and then decided to go with a uniform layout, using 2 4x6 photo mats and 2 4x4 photo mats.

I wanted to keep my card really simple, so using the promotional paper for this month's Constant Campaign, Live Beautifully as my base, I stamped Love using versamark and embossing with Gold onto Black cardstock.  The reason I went so simple is because my first piece did not turn out how I wanted, so I improvised.  Enjoy the hop.
